The Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies (ITLS) is Australia's Key Centre of Excellence in Transport and Logistics Research and Education. ITLS undertakes graduate teaching, management development programs, grant and contract research and development in the fields of transport and logistics studies.

ITLS will be running courses in Februrary 2009 on Discrete Choice Modelling and Choice Experiment Design. The fee for each course will be $3,000 with discounts for those attending both courses. The number of places are limited so please register your interest soon.

Dr Corinne Mulley appointed as the founding Chair in Public Transport at ITLS, funded by the NSW government.

Congratulations to Dr Corinne Mulley (Senior Lecturer in Transport Economics, Newcastle University, UK) who will commence as the founding Chair in Public Transport at ITLS in December. In this role Dr Mulley will provide strong, independent strategic advice especially regarding public transport development associated with Sydney and NSW.
