Transport and the Sydney Olympics: Sharing the Story Hensher, D.A. and Brewer, A.M.

In 2000 ITLS (then ITS) conducted studies relating to the Olympics which would be of particular interest to transport planners and managers in all business fields. ITLS has compiled these reports into one: ‘Transport and the Sydney Olympics: Sharing the Story’. This monograph contains the Four Wave Olympic Reports as well as other papers, all providing comprehensive analyses and description of the biggest transport and logistics event in Australia’s history.

Section 1. Four Wave Reports - Work Related Travel Activity and the Sydney Olympics: Coping Strategies and Market Targeting

Section 2. Going for Gold at the Sydney Olympics: How did Transport Perform?

Section 3. The Impact of Staging a Major Event on Commuters’ Work and Travel Behaviour: The Sydney 2000 Olympic Games
